"Surreal Life or Something Like It" (2018)
From the 2018 Paris exhibition series "Surreal Life or Something Like It". The paintings in the exhibition merged together deep conscious/subconscious, ancient geometry, surrealism, ancient Sumerian, and Egyptian culture. The exhibition also introduced his “monochromvision®” to a much more public view. An art style which was the core aesthetic of Rodshir Dailë Studio®, now Dailë Design + Associates®. Monochromvision® derived from the medical condition known as monochromtism, in which a person only sees in black, white and shades of grey. Rodshir translated this same technique into his paintings, by merging surrealism, roman architecture and Egyptian landscapes.
